Role: You will be part of a global and multicultural team covering the African continent, and you will be responsible for promoting the Sagaci Research brand to the world. Our objective is to raise Sagaci Research’s profile among prospective clients, among our online community and with the media and ultimately drive quality new leads to all areas of the business. Please note that given the nature of the position, only native English and fluent French speakers will be considered.

Responsibilities

Content Marketing

  • Putting together a content marketing strategy for the company
  • Creating content (articles, reports, infographics…) on an ongoing basis to be used for PR and sales activities
  • Working hand-in-hand with the Sales Team and the Key Account Teams to ensure marketing content is used effectively
  • Arranging for the company to attend relevant industry events and conferences
  • Updating content of the website (products & services, editorial content, layout, teams,...)

Community management

  • Generating social content that will drive communications with online community
  • Planning social content and maintain a content calendar
  • Managing the company’s social media accounts and posting relevant content
  • Monitoring overall marketing strategy by overseeing social media campaigns

Media/PR

  • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant business publications and trade associations on the African continent and across the world
  • Creating and maintaining media lists
  • Pitching Sagaci Research stories to media by discussing and sending press releases every week to the media database
  • Responding to media inquiries for Sagaci Research data

Profile

  • 1 to 3 years of previous marketing experience
  • Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a range of internal teams and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with proactive thinking, creativity and strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding time-management skills with the ability to deliver results to tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes
  • Native English and fluent French is required. Portuguese would be a plus.
