Reveille Group is a strategic advisory consulting firm based out of Washington, DC. We are focused on providing our diverse clients with innovative solutions in strategic planning, communications, and management. We are looking to bring on an integral team member to support an upcoming project. We desire someone with diverse experience and skills in Automated Directives System (ADS) policy and technical writing.

Must currently possess a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support successful implementation of the USAID policy framework, which documents USAID’s management standards, support services, and operations
  • Providing customized and objective advice, expertise, and specialist skills to create value and improve internal processes and performance relating to policy
  • Understanding of and experience with the policy lifecycle (Development, maintenance, rescission)
  • Gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data relating to the implementation of policy, plans and/or doctrine
  • Working with policy stakeholders to understand viewpoints, concerns, and needs
  • Integrating data and stakeholder viewpoints into synthesized reports and recommendations
  • Providing policy recommendations and advice to be consumed by senior leaders
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to develop and refine agency-wide policy
  • Facilitate the use of policy documents (ex: directives, instructions, memos, etc.) to create policy packages for review, clearance and approval

Minimum requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional work experience in the Federal Government IT space as a leader and individual contributor in the areas of Process Improvement, Quality Management, and IT Policy
  • Hands-on experience assessing as-is organizational process environments using CMMI, and recommending viable improvements - including improvements to procedures, tools, and templates used to support the environment - to raise the organization’s maturity level within a reasonable timeline
  • Understanding of Governance and Process standards and frameworks (including COBIT, ITIL, and CMMI) and hand-on experience applying that knowledge to achieve improvements to process efficiency and effectiveness, along with improvements to organizational process assets
  • Proficient in Lean Six Sigma process improvement techniques and tools
  • Proficient in facilitating meetings with stakeholders, to elicit and extract relevant information about policies or processes and then capturing that information into publishable policy or process documentation
  • Possess excellent, executive-level presentation skills
  • Possess an understanding of standards and guidelines for Quality Management, Auditing, and Testing (e.g. the ISO 9000 family, ISO 19011, and ISO 29119)
  • Proficient in collecting and analyzing process and procedural metrics and generating data analytics reports (e.g. Tableau dashboard reports)
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, CMMI, PMP, COBIT, and/or ITIL are a strong plus
