Airband specialise in delivering innovative, cost effective solutions to communities that deserve better connectivity across England and Wales, turning some of the hardest to reach parts of the country into some of the best connected. We are excited to be currently opening up our sales department to pull together some talented, motivated individuals to help sell our services.
What will you be doing?
You will be developing relationships with people who currently have poor broadband and watching the delight on their faces when they realise we can give them connectivity that finally works!
We realise not everyone might be interested in our products straight away so we will train you to ask the right questions and build connections with the customers, putting our values of listening and being responsive at the core.
You’ll need to travel door to door to visit the customers and there you will gather information and work with them to find a solution. You will need to foster the relationship via further visits and telephone calls and encourage them to find referrals. Relationships will be at the heart of everything you do.
You will be given a territory that is yours and as Airband’s face in the community you will take ownership of your area, attending local events, meetings and fairs.
In winter months, when there is less sunlight, or when the weather is bad you will continue to build relationships over the phone, making calls to prospects and new customers. And we will provide you with suitable Airband clothing to withstand all weathers (we all know it rains in Britain!),
You will work with a team of others and for the majority of the time will work in your own territory, but you will need to be willing to to travel and stay a way for a week at a time when we need to do a big push in an area. We will ensure the work is lots of fun with financial rewards to match. If you are confident, persuasive and a good talker you will love this role.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people that are self motivated, driven by targets and keen to succeed ;as long as you are comfortable working outside and on the phone we want to hear from you.
Your shift patterns will be flexible as they will vary due to the number of sunlight hours, but evenings and Saturdays are the best times to catch people in so working hours will be based around that.
You may have some sales experience already but it’s not essential as long as you have the right attitude and are up for the challenge.
What is in it for you?
Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to unsuccessful candidates
