Job Description
The Sr. Supply Chain Associate is an exciting, rapid-growth role for junior talent at Country Archer. You will primarily be responsible for owning supply chain scheduling and planning for specific portions of our portfolio, as well as leading various analytical initiatives across the company’s supply chain and operations. In this role, you will develop and grow as a junior, emerging leader in our Supply Chain and Operations team and will learn the ins-and-outs of our business within your first year while having the opportunity to learn management skills and to make a positive impact to the business.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in supply chain, engineering, business/economics, or a similar technical discipline, and she/he should be eager to learn the end-to-end operation and supply chain of a food manufacturing company with a desire to grow in a management capacity in the years to come. The candidate should have strong written and oral communication skills, be a self-starter and independently driven, be able to conduct complex modeling and analyses and present the resulting findings and recommendations to senior and executive management, and be comfortable engaging with teammates across all levels and departments. The position will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and will be primarily based in our Chicago, IL satellite office with support to our manufacturing and HQ facilities in Los Angeles, CA and San Bernardino, CA.

Key Responsibilities
- Creating manufacturing schedules, material replenishment plans (MRP) and demand plans (DP)
- Update the 18-month SKU level demand plan for all assigned channels leveraging historical shipments, sales data, distributor data
- Conducting Monthly Customer Forecast reviews and align with Sales team on future looking demand
- Reviewing weekly orders vs forecast with Sales team to understand root cause on errors and apply learnings to future looking forecast
- Conducting in depth analyses across the operations and supply chain, using Excel and other advanced engineering or statistical modeling tools as necessary
- Creating relevant reporting and dashboards that track against Key Performance Indicators
- Providing reports and recommendations to the company’s senior management and executives
- Leveraging distributor data to understand Customer level weeks of supply and adjust the future looking forecast accordingly
- Analytically supporting continuous improvement efforts and/or Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects to meaningfully improve productivity, throughput and profitability
- Participating in leadership development and management trainings and offsites
- Delivering effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact
- Partnering closely with operations and contract manufacturing team member and partners to optimize production schedules
- Maintaining and refreshing forecast and supply planning models weekly
- In collaboration with marketing, initiating and managing a cross-functional SKU rationalization evaluation, quarterly
- This role will have occasional travel to our HQ and manufacturing / partner facilities

- When in Manufacturing environment:
- o All State and Federal food manufacturing laws, food safety requirements, good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and other standard industry manufacturing practices must be adhered to at all times
- o All USDA organic processor practices must be adhered to at all times
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or similar technical degree

- Strong communication skills (oral and written). Specifically, the confidence and comfort to communicate with senior and executive management on a daily basis, and provide report outs on all necessary monthly, quarterly, and compliance paperwork and activities
Computer and Technology Capability Requirements:
- Advanced functionality in Excel
- Ability to conduct modeling exercises and analytics using Excel or other statistical models / programs
