About the Role

The Paid Search & Social Strategist at Magneti will play a pivotal role in our innovative Digital Strategy team. This position is responsible for strategizing, implementing, and optimizing paid search and social campaigns for a diverse clientele while identifying opportunities to enhance results and client satisfaction.

Candidates should be data-driven, passionate digital marketers with a firm grasp of current and emerging digital advertising channels, including Google, Meta, Bing, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more. You will transform client goals into successful campaigns, demonstrating a balance between thorough planning and energetic execution. We're seeking a driven, results-oriented individual ready to contribute to and grow with our team.

Note: This role is remote-hybrid, and candidates must be based in the USA.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain paid search and social campaigns including campaign setup, keyword development, ad copy creation, bid management, and A/B testing.
  • Monitor daily performance and optimize campaigns using data analytics, ensuring revenue, budget, and other business goals are being met.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, conduct competitor and audience research to inform and improve campaign strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with account teams to ensure alignment on strategy, goal setting, and overall campaign execution.
  • Identify and test new opportunities for growth, expansion, and optimization in campaign structures, ad creative, budgets, and other impactful variables.
  • Collaborate with sales to evaluate new opportunities, strategically craft proposals in alignment with client objectives, and leverage data insights to scope realistic expectations.
  • Oversee campaign budgets, coordinate with vendors for efficient campaign implementation, and streamline billing processes across accounts.
  • Enhance Magneti’s paid media practice through the development of internal processes, the creation of up-to-date documentation, contributing to agency marketing, and conducting team training.
  • Design and manage client campaigns that align with Magneti’s vision of full-funnel performance, optimizing customer acquisition costs and maximizing customer lifetime value.

Paid Search

Your expertise in keyword research, ad creation, bid strategies, and audience segmentation will be instrumental in reaching target audiences and delivering on campaign objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategizing, launching, and managing paid search campaigns on Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search platforms.
  • Conducting keyword research and selection for pay-per-click campaigns and monitoring their success.
  • Optimizing campaigns regularly for improved performance based on data analysis and A/B testing.
  • Tracking and reporting on campaign results, data analysis, and conducting bi-weekly client status meetings.
  • Keeping pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.

Paid Social

You will play a crucial role in reaching target audiences and delivering on campaign objectives by utilizing your proficiency in ad creative development, audience segmentation, and understanding of each social platform's unique targeting attributes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, executing, and managing paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Developing and refining audience segments for each campaign to optimize targeting.
  • Leveraging Magneti’s creative resources to create compelling ad content tailored to each platform's strengths and audience preferences.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and optimizing campaign performance based on data analysis and A/B testing.
  • Regularly communicating with clients about campaign strategy, progress, and results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in paid media, specifically paid search & paid social.
  • Hands-on experience running campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and Twitter Ads.
  • Proven experience in managing comprehensive full-funnel advertising campaigns, including direct response, lead generation, brand awareness, customer nurturing, and retargeting programs.
  • Proficiency in campaign implementation and analysis using Google Analytics (GA4) and Looker Studio.
  • Understanding of best practices for landing page optimization to enhance campaign conversions.
  • Experience in a diverse set of industries such as e-commerce, B2B tech, healthcare, financial services, professional services, nonprofits, and more.
  • Strong communication skills in various platforms like email, Slack, Zoom, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Figma.
  • Relevant digital marketing certifications such as Google Ads Certification, Meta Ads Certification, HubSpot Certification, LinkedIn Ads Certification are preferred.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising platforms and other ad technologies is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical tools beyond Google Analytics, like BigQuery and Looker Studio, is a plus.
  • Understanding of integrated marketing strategies (inbound marketing, content marketing, email marketing, SEO) and how they align with paid advertising is a plus.

Job Details

Reporting Structure: The Paid Search & Social Strategist will report to the Vice President of Digital Strategy.

Job Type/Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position with access to Magneti’s full set of benefits including medical insurance, dental insurance, 401k, a generous Paid Time Off policy, and a remote-hybrid work setting. For a full list of our benefits, visit THIS page.

Compensation: The role of Paid Search & Social Strategist will receive a salary of $70,000 - $95,000, depending on skills and experience.

Location: We are a remote-hybrid team based in Colorado. We gather for an in-person team meeting on one Tuesday per month, but we work remotely the rest of the time. Candidates for this role must be based in the United States.
